Also unveiled at today’s Acer Predator event are 3 brand new gaming monitors. The best out of these monitors is the Acer Predator X35 curved monitor with up to 200Hz refresh rate in overclocking mode and a 2ms Grey to Grey response time.
With a 3440 x 1440 UWQHD resolution VA panel, the screen delivers an impressive 1.07 billion colours in a 90% DCI-P3 standard. It has up to 1000 nits peak brightness which highlights the darker colours and blacks. If you’re into RG-Bae like I am, the back of the monitor lights up with RGB colours supported by the RGB Light Sense App which lights up according to the movie, music or game you’re playing. The screen costs RM9399 and is available mid-July.
If that’s a little out of your budget, you can have a look at the Acer Nitro Series Monitor which features a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time which eliminates blur, ghost and smearing effects. For gamers to easily change the display settings, the screen comes with Acer Display widgets so that users do not have to fumble with buttons.
The Acer Nitro Series monitors include the Acer Nitro VG271U P which measures at 27 inches with WQHD (2560 x 1440) IPS display priced at RM1399, the Acer Nitro VG270 P which measures at 27 inches with FHD IPS display priced at RM899 and the Acer Nitro VG240Y P monitor which measures at 23.8 inches priced at RM699. All 3 monitors are available at the end of July.

If you’re looking for a 31.5 inch monitor, turn your eyes to the Acer ED322QR P. It comes with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 with a FHD VA Panel display. It has a 1800R curve form factor and a 178 degree viewing angle. AMD Radeon FreeSync technology is equipped on this display with 144Hz refresh rate and 4ms response time. This monitor is priced at an affordable RM939.
