As the Acer Global Press Conference 2022 took place, there were multiple product showcases as usual. However, the one that probably stood out the most is the Acer Swift 3 OLED laptop. There's no price yet but below are the details of the tech specs and features.

The new Acer Swift 3 OLED laptop (SF314-71) is powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics, alongside PCIe Gen 4 SSDs and up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory. Offering 10 hours of real-world battery life, a 30-minute charge can offer 4 hours of battery life which is usually more than enough for a casual user working outdoors remotely.

Of course, as the name implies, the highlight would be the OLED display which is the first in its lineup. The Swift 3 OLED features a 14-inch WQXGA+ (2.8k resolution) OLED display with a 92% screen-to-body ratio, which is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500-certified and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Also, it is still a lightweight device weighing 1.4kg and its touchpad is made from ocean-bound plastic waste.

Last but not least, there are other noteworthy and recognizable features such as WiFi 6E, an FHD MIPI webcam, the returning Acer PurifiedVoice with AI Noise reduction and the backlit keyboard too. This laptop will be available in China first this month, followed by the US and EMEA in June 2022. The following estimated prices are:

  • USD 899.99 - ~RM3965
  • EUR 999 - ~RM4610
  • RMB 4,999 - ~RM3255

The Swift 3 OLED laptop should be making its way to the Malaysian market this year, so we just have to wait and see. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
