If you thought Acer was going to take a break after the Next@Acer event at the end of May, they are not. Today, Acer Malaysia just announced another plethora of laptops for the Malaysian market - the Spin 3, Spin 5, Swift 3 and Aspire 3 with updated specifications such as the 11th Gen Intel Core processor. Let's get into it.
Starting with the Spin 3 and Spin 5, you should be familiar with these laptops as compact devices weighing 1.2kg and 1.4kg respectively. These laptops are also now flexible thanks to the 360-degree hinge, allowing the users to switch to tablet or tent mode. Powered by up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Iris X graphics, both laptops are also accompanied by up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB PCIe Gen 4 SSD.
As usual, the difference between the two is the display size but not so much. The Spin 3 features a 13.3-inch WQXGA (2560x1600) multi-touch IPS display whereas the Spin 5 features a 13.5-inch QHD IPS display. A built-in Acer Active Stylus with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity is available too. They are priced at RM3999 and RM4599 respectively.
The Swift 3 got upgraded with Intel Evo and also powered by up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and Intel Iris X graphics. The memory configuration is also beefed up to 16GB of RAM with the latest PCIe Gen 4 SSD. The 1.2kg laptop also features a 14-inch FHD IPS display with 100% sRGB colour gamut and 300 nits, and pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019 at the price of RM3499.
Last but not least, the Aspire 3 has the same CPU and GPU power, alongside 8GB of RAM and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage. For the display, it uses a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display and also comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019 program. The laptop costs RM2899.
In conjunction with Father’s Day, Acer Malaysia is offering exclusive online promotions for these laptops at selected Acer official and certified stores, Shopee and Lazada from 19 until 21 June 2021. Customers who purchase these laptops before 30 June 2021 will also be entitled to participate in the #CreateYourDreamSpace Contest. In this contest, customers can redeem up to RM200 credit from either Touch ‘n Go or Boost and stand a chance to win their dream space makeover by Woody Lab worth up to RM63,000. Makeover items include Acer monitor or projector and Woody Lab Smart Desk, monitor stand and other items.
