As announced from the next@acer 2025 Global Press Conference, Acer has officially unveiled the Swift Air 16 (SFA16-61M), the newest member of its thin-and-light Swift series. Weighing in at under 1 kg (2.18 lbs), this 16-inch laptop blends cutting-edge AI capabilities, sleek design, and premium display options.

At the heart of the Swift Air 16 is the latest AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processor, with configurations up to the Ryzen AI 7 350. This chipset not only delivers fast and efficient performance for video conferencing, streaming, editing, and creative workflows, but also enables smooth execution of local AI applications thanks to its integrated AI engine.
As a Copilot+ PC, the Swift Air 16 unlocks Microsoft’s next-gen AI features, including Recall (preview), Click to Do (preview), and Improved Windows Search—tools aimed at boosting productivity, collaboration, and content creation. Buyers can also choose between two 16-inch displays:
- WQXGA+ AMOLED (120 Hz): Delivers deep blacks, vibrant colours, 400 nits peak brightness, and full DCI-P3 coverage.
- WUXGA IPS (60 Hz): A more traditional option, offering sharp visuals with a 16:10 aspect ratio for enhanced productivity.
