For those unaware, Computex 2023 is happening next week. As usual, Acer will be there to showcase its latest products. But the company has provided some reveals ahead of the event. One of them is the refreshed Acer Swift Edge 16, a laptop that's designed for professionals.

The Acer Swift Edge 16 (SFE16-43) is a lightweight laptop with an AMD Ryzen 7040 Series CPU and an integrated AMD Radeon 780M GPU. That gives it even power to perform a variety of tasks, including video rendering. On top of that, some variants will feature AMD's Ryzen AI to keep up with the current AI trend.

In terms of features, the Swift Edge 16 sports a 16-inch 3.2K (3200x2000 resolution) OLED display, Wi-Fi 7, Microsoft Pluton support, and more. The large 16-inch OLED screen is definitely its biggest feature, as it offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a 0.2ms response time. It also has a 1000000:1 contrast ratio, 500 nits peak brightness, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.

If you're interested, the Acer Malaysia website has already update the product page with details of the refreshed model. Interestingly, only last year's models are listed for purchase so that means no local prices. But Acer did confirm that its price will be USD 1300 (~RM6030) in the US, which is about what you'd expect for a professional laptop.
