With Computex 2025 happening next week, PC brands are ready to reveal their new laptops to the world. Some of them are showing off ahead of the event in Taiwan. Among them is Acer, which unveiled new Swift Go AI and Swift Edge AI laptops.

Swift Edge 14 AI

Let's start with the Acer Swift Edge 14 AI. This 14-inch laptop is an ultra-lightweight PC weighing a mere 0.99kg. But don't let the thin profile deceive you, for under the chassis is an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor. It also has an Intel Arc Graphics 140V integrated GPU, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD.

Upon lifting the lid, you'll find a 14-inch 3K OLED display that delivers 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. This OLED display uses Corning Gorilla's Matte Pro surface treatment, which can reduce screen reflection by 95% more than standard anti-glare glass surfaces. The Swift Edge 14 AI also features a chassis with high-grade magnesium-aluminium alloy for greater durability.

Swift Go 16 AI and Swift Go 14 AI

Next are two Swift Go AI series laptops, available in 16-inch and 14-inch models. The Swift Go 16 AI and Swift Go 14 AI are powered by the same Intel Core Ultra 200V series processors. In this case, the two laptops have the option of going up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor. Both laptops also support up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD.

In terms of display, the Swift Go 16 AI has the option of either a 16-inch OLED 2048x1280 display or a 16-inch LCD 1920x1200 display. The Swift Go 14 AI is similar, except it offers a smaller 14-inch OLED or LCD screen with a 1920x1200 resolution. Both laptops also feature Acer's Multi-Control Touchpad and a 64Wh battery, which promises up to 16 hours of battery life.
