Acer just recently hosted next@acer2021 and there are many, many products. We are slowly breaking them down into separate posts so in this article, it's all gonna be about the Swift X. It's Acer's latest and strongest laptop powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 series mobile processor. So without further ado, here's everything you need to know about the Swift X.

Like the rest of the Swift series lineup, the Swift X is also pretty light weighing 1.39kg only. Inside that thin 17.9mm body packs an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU and up to AMD Ryzen 7 5800U Mobile Processor. In terms of memory configuration, it's going big too with up to 16GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage. The 59W battery offers up to 17 hours of usage.

On the display, it features a 14-inch FHD IPS display with an 85.7% screen-to-body ratio, 300 nits brightness and 100% sRGB which is great for visual editing. To ensure eye protection, Acer BlueLightShield technology is pre-installed and there is plenty of USB Type-C ports around. WiFi 6 connectivity and a cooling system to optimize its thermal heat are also onboard.

For now, the Swift X will be available in the USA, Europe and China in June, Summer 2021 and Q3 of 2021 respectively. The following starting prices are:

  • USA - $899.99 (~RM3728)
  • Europe - 899 Euros (~RM4538)
  • China - 6499 Yuan (~RM4221)

Keep in mind that these converted local prices are just a rough estimation. It's also not known if Acer Malaysia plans to import this into the Malaysian market but we shall see. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
