Acer has announced the launch of the Veriton, TravelMate and Chromebook line-ups

Today Acer Malaysia has unveiled several new devices such as business-grade desktops for the Acer Veritons, Acer TravelMate which packs productivity and mobility into a single package, and lastly Chromebooks which packs cloud computing goodness into a small package.

Starting off with the Veriton line-up, this current generation is running on the 8th generation Intel Core i7+ which is paired together with Intel Optane Technology which increases the overall speed of the PC. Not only that, it also comes with an M.2 2280 PCIe SSD which makes for a much quicker booth up to decrease down time between production. It is also capable of housing an independant graphics card to further boost performances and also allows it to display up to 5 displays at once. Pricing for the Veriton series starts from RM1999 onwards and it will be available early august at Acer Official Stores nationwide.

As for the Acer TravelMate series, all variants of the laptops will house 8th generation Intel Core processors and they will also be shipped with Microsoft Windows 10 out of the box. The laptops feature up to 32GB of RAM and up to 512GB internal SSD to maximize productivity performance. But that’s not all, it also has a battery life capable of lasting up to 15 hours and has dual-band WIFI connection capabilities making sure you are always connected. In terms of features, the TravelMate comes with Acer BluelightShield™ and ComfyView™ to protect eyes and it also provides clearer pictures which improves browsing experience as well as reading texts. The screen is also able to pivot up to 180-degrees to make sharing content, presentations easier and the TravelMate is now available starting from RM2499 onwards.

Chromebooks has also quite a lot of new devices this year including the Acer Chromebook Spin 11, Acer Chromebook 11, Acer Chromebook Tab 10, and lastly the Acer Chromebox CXI3. The Chromebook Spin 11 offers the ability to be able to pivot the 11.6-inch screen by 360-degrees and as for the resolution, it is at 1366 x 768 pixels. Tech spec wise, it is powered by the Intel Celeron Quad-core processor N3450, up to 8GB of RAM, 64GB of eMMC storage as well as up to 10 hours in battery life. Pricing wise it starts from RM1399 onwards and RM1099 for the non-spin version.

Chromebook Tab 10 on the other hand, is running on a Cortex-A72 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and it has a 9.7-inch display with a screen resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. Not only that, the tablet also comes with a Wacom EMR stylus which is to the side of the device that allows the user to sketch and take notes whenever necessary. The Chromebook Tab 10 is available at all authorised Acer dealers nationwide for the price of RM1299.

Lastly, the Acer ChromeBox CXI3 is a small form factor PC which is running on the ChromeOS and it comes equipped with 8th generation intel processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and it is designed to be placed and used in the office on the desk or even installed behind the VESA mount of the monitor.
