Acer launches the Orion 3000 and Orion 5000 gaming desktop + possible Dual Xeon Processor PC in the future

During the next@acer livestream, Acer has unveiled the Orion 3000 and the Orion 5000 to be included as part of the new line-up for the Orion Series Gaming Desktop. The Orion 5000 will be running on an 8th generation Intel Core i7+ 8700 Processor, Dual Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti Graphics processor in SLI mode as well as Ice Tunnel 2.0.

The Orion 3000 on the other hand, will be running on an 8th Gen Intel Core i7+ Processor, Single Nvidia GTX 1080 along with 64GB DDR4 RAM with a speed of 2666MHz. Both the desktop will be housed in an EMI-Compliant DIY Adaptable Chassis to ensure that there will not be any interference between the desktop and other devices. It is best to note that the ‘+’ symbol refers to the integration of the Optane memory which improves load times and increases responsiveness of the desktop.

Predator X - Dual Xeon processor Desktop

Acer CEO Jason Chen has mentioned a possibility that a future gaming desktop, named the Predator X could house a Dual Xeon processor but other than that there is no official confirmation of it yet. There is no news on the pricing or Malaysian release date of the Desktops mentioned but as always, stay tuned to Technave.com for more updates.
