In conjunction with the Acer Day 2019 with the theme 'Freedom to Play', Acer has officially launched the 2019 refresh of the Acer Aspire 3 and Acer Aspire 5 laptops in Malaysia. Other than that, Acer has also unveiled the Acer PM161Q portable display starting from as low as RM599.
The Acer Aspire 3 and Aspire 5 are priced starting from RM2399, and RM2499 respectively. In terms of tech specs, both the laptops comes equipped with up to an Intel Core i7-8565U processor, 4GB of RAM which is expandable up to 20GB and up to 256GB of SSD storage. Furthermore, there is also an option to add an additional HDD as well for increased storage capacity.
In terms of the graphics and display, the Acer Aspire 3 comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display which is powered by an Nvidia Geforce MX230 graphics processor. The Acer Aspire 5, on the other hand, comes with a slightly smaller 14-inch Full HD display and the higher performance Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics processor instead.
In addition to that, the portable display mentioned above is a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display which lets the user extend their screen real estate by connecting any USB Type-C compatible device such as smartphones, laptops and tablets. As mentioned above, the Acer PM161Q portable display will be available starting from RM599 and it will be available for purchase in September 2019.
