Acer named as the Official Monitor Provider of the 2018 League of Legends World Championship for the third time in a row

For the 2018 League of Legends World Championship, it has been announced that Acer is once again the Official Monitor Provider for the event. This marks the company's third consecutive year to support one of the biggest eSports events globally. In case you're wondering, the monitor model that will be provided is a Predator XB1 (XB241H) gaming monitor. The event will be held multiple cities of South Korea such as Seoul, Busan, Gwangju and Incheon.

Acer's ongoing partnership with Riot Games started in 2016 and they have sponsored plenty of gadgets for numerous events, including the Worlds and All-Star 2016, NA LCS, EU LCS, Worlds, MSI and All-Star 2017, and NA LCS, EU LCS, Worlds, MSI, and All-Star 2018. The 2018 League of Legends World Championship will be participated by 24 teams from North America, Europe, South Korea, China and more, battling through the Play-in Stage, Group Stage, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the Finals held at the Incheon Munhak Stadium.

Just so you know, the gaming monitor features a Full HD 1080p display with NVIDIA G-Sync, a quick 1 ms response and up to 144Hz refresh rate. It can also be overclocked up to 180Hz if you like, as well as having wide viewing angles from up to 170 degrees horizontally and 160 degrees vertically.
