Acer unveiled the world's lightest 15-inch laptop at IFA Berlin

During IFA in Berlin, Acer has announced the launch of the Acer Swift 5 which is the world’s lightest 15.6-inch laptop weighing at only 990 grams along with thin bezels up to 87.6% screen-to-body ratio and Full HD screen resolution. Not only that, there’s also the new Swift 3 which comes with a 13.3-inch display as well as 14-inch display.

In terms of tech specs, the Swift 5 packs up to an 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8565U processor, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB SSD, Full HD 1080p IPS touchscreen display, 15.9mm thin chassis, fingerprint sensor and battery life up to 10 hours of use before needing to recharge again.

The Swift 3 laptop on the other hand is fitted with up to an 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8565U processor, up to 8GB of RAM, 512GB SSD storage, up to 12 hours of battery life, and it offers the option to include a discrete Nvidia MX150 graphics for the additional horsepower when necessary.
