Acer unveiled their new Triton 300, Chromebook, Swift 5 laptops and more at IFA 2019 in Germany

During the Next@Acer launch event in Germany, Acer has launched several laptops such as the Triton series, Swift series, Chromebooks, as well as ConceptD Pro laptops. But that’s not all, also unveiled the Acer Predator Thronos Air gaming chair as well, which offers the most immersive gaming experience to those who sit on it.

Starting off with the Triton series, Acer boasted that they have managed to push the refresh rate of the Triton 500 up to 300Hz. The high refresh rate display on the aforementioned laptop, allows it to display much smoother visuals as compared to 144Hz and 240Hz display. The Triton 300, on the other hand, focuses on being a lightweight and affordable mainstream gaming laptop which is suitable for those who are constantly on the go.

In terms of the tech specs, the Triton 300 comes with a 9th generation Intel Core i7 processor paired with a 15-inch 144Hz display powered by the Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics processor. In addition to that, it comes with up to 32GB of RAM, up to 1TB Raid 0 NVMe SSD as well as up to 2TB hard drive storage. As for the Triton 500, it comes with the same processor and memory configuration. However, it has a 15-inch display with 300Hz refresh rate capabilities which is powered by the Nvidia RTX2080 Max-Q graphics processor.

Other than the Triton, Acer also unveiled the new Swift series as well which comes equipped with up to a 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor along with up to a 14-inch display which is powered by an Nvidia MX250 GPU. Not only that, but Acer has also boasted that the Swift 5 is super thin and it weighs only 990 grams which makes it incredibly easy to carry around while travelling.

The Acer ConceptD Pro laptops are productivity-focused laptops, which are designed for professional workloads such as 3D modelling, software developers and more. This is due to the fact that the laptops are equipped with up to an Nvidia RTX Quadro 5000 workstation graphics processor and a PANTONE-Validated display for accurate colour reproduction. The benefit of the aforementioned workstation GPU is that it comes with ray-tracing capabilities, as well as high CUDA core count to process any task the user throws at it.

Last but not least, Acer also released four new Chromebooks focused on productivity and entertainment with its 15.6-inch FHD display. Not only that, but the Chromebooks are also capable of lasting up to 12.5 hours on a single charge and it also comes with up to 8GB of RAM as well as 64GB of internal storage.
