ActiVision Blizzard players will be able to buy games on Battle.net in Malaysian Ringgit soon

When it comes to buying games from ActiVision Blizzard, most Malaysian gamers would just resort to Steam due to the quarterly sales or sail out to the seven seas (IYKYK). To resolve this, the company has just announced that players will be able to buy their favourite games on Battle.net in their local currency instead of USD

The announcement was made via email whereby Battle.net users' transaction currency will change from USD to MYR no sooner than 30 days from the date of the notification. If there is any Battle.net USD Balance, it will be converted to MYR based on the WMR FX Benchmarks exchange rate. The prices will be adjusted accordingly when the change is made.

On top of that, any subscriptions set up after the currency change will use your new transaction currency. If you have an active or paused World of Warcraft subscription, your current subscription will not be affected and will continue to be billed in MYR until cancelled.
