Today at the Adobe Max 2019, Adobe has launched an iPad version of their Photoshop app for the users to experience Photoshop on-the-go. This Photoshop for iPad app is said to have most of the features from the desktop version as it is built using the same code base as the Photoshop on the desktop.

With Photoshop for iPad, it is easier to interact with the tools as you can just swipe, pinch, tap, scribble and slide to express your creativity under your fingertips. The features available includes Layers, Quick Selection, Lasso, Spot Healing and Clone Stamp. The app also supports PSD file format and you can sync it with Adobe Cloud Storage to continue working on your project in the desktop version.

Also, updates of the app could also be faster and promising as the Product Manager of Photoshop, Pam Clerk, mentioned they will “add more capabilities and workflows as they learn more about how customers use Photoshop on a mobile device”.

The subscription of the app comes for a monthly fee of RM 41.90. This is a stand-alone subscription plan as it doesn’t include access to Photoshop on desktop. It is available for iPad users to download on the App Store starting now.
