A month after its original announcement, Adobe has officially launched Premiere for iPhone. The mobile app is available now in the App Store — free to download — and is built from the ground up to deliver fast, intuitive, and powerful editing experiences. However, do note that there are a few in-app purchases inside.

What’s inside the iPhone app

This isn’t just a “lite” version — it packs in robust features you would expect from a desktop editor, all optimised for mobile workflows. Creators get access to a multi-track timeline with frame-accurate editing, 4K HDR support, animated captions, motion and speed effects, and even background removal.

AI takes centre stage with tools like Enhance Speech, which cleans up voiceovers to sound studio-quality, and generative sound effects that can add atmosphere to any project. The app also integrates generative AI assets, allowing users to auto-expand backgrounds, convert images into video, or create stickers — all royalty-safe.

Adobe has also built in seamless access to its massive asset ecosystem, which includes millions of images, fonts, stickers, and music. For social media creators, one-tap exports and smart resizing make posting to platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram effortless.

The base editing experience is free, but extra generative credits and expanded storage are available via upgrades. Any project started on iPhone can also be transferred smoothly to Premiere Pro on a desktop for detailed fine-tuning later.

What’s Next

The app is available globally starting today, and Adobe also confirmed that a Premiere version for Android is in development, with plans to bring similar capabilities to that platform soon. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
