According to Amanz, Agoda released a report showing Kuala Lumpur as the fifth most popular tourist destination in the world for the first six months of 2024. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, Kuala Lumpur is only behind Tokyo, Bangkok, Osaka and Seoul. Apart from KL, other cities that are the focus of tourists in Malaysia are Johor Bahru, Penang, Kota Kinabalu and Melaka. This list of the world's most popular destinations is according to Agoda customers' accommodation reservations between January 1, 2024 and June 10, 2024.
We have yet to confirm other details on the subject. But, it is interesting to see how Malaysia is being acknowledged as a global destination for tourism. Hopefully, this could bring a lot of positives to the country.
