Local company Agroz Inc. launched the Agroz Robotics program in collaboration with UBTECH Robotics to use humanoid robots in the Malaysian agriculture sector. So, what should you know about it?

An effort to improve productivity and reduce human labour reliance

For your information, the UBTECH Walker S robot is used by Agroz Robotics to perform tasks such as sowing, monitoring, harvesting, and optimising crop processes at Agroz's vertical farming farm. Through the use of the Walker S robot, Agroz hopes to improve the productivity of agricultural farms and reduce the reliance on human labour.

Therefore, Agroz will be able to deploy modular robotic solutions tailored for vertical farms, smart greenhouses and hybrid facilities across Southeast Asia. This innovation is in line with Malaysia's vision for sustainable food security. They hope to expand this robotic farming system across Southeast Asia to accelerate the global transition towards a smart, sustainable and climate-resilient food system.
