Airbus has issued a warning to operators of its A320 series. The warning follows a recent incident involving a JetBlue flight that caused the plane to lose altitude. So, what should you know about it?

Solar flare might have caused this issue

For your information, Airbus said the incident showed that solar flares or strong solar radiation could have affected critical data for flight control functions. Under Airbus' direction, airlines are being asked to roll back their operating software to a previous version, and this must be done before any aircraft can fly again. This move is expected to affect around 6,000 aircraft under the A320 family.

Moreover, AirAsia announced that it has started rolling back the previous version of software on its Airbus A320 aircraft starting today. AirAsia said it will complete all related processes within 48 hours, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
