You might be familiar with Alexa and its F2P features. However, that might change soon. Recently, Amazon plans to make you pay for Alexa. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, the new feature is called Alexa Plus. This feature will go live starting 30 June 2024. However, Business Insider reported that might not happen. According to the rumours, Amazon is testing the new feature with 15000 staff. This feature is nicknamed “Remarkable Alexa”.

In addition, rumour says Alexa is great at holding at holding conversations. However, it is bad at being helpful or productive. Often, Alexa gives exceedingly long and often inaccurate answers. It also has difficulties with more complicated requests that require dealing with multiple services.

Moreover, most staff are pessimistic about the paid subscription. Especially about Alexa Plus capabilities. We have yet to confirm other details or the Malaysia official price for it. As of now, we should wait for further confirmation from Amazon.
