Alienware introduces new gaming notebooks for VR experience

Today, as Alienware celebrates its 20th anniversary this year for being a pioneer in high-performance PC gaming system, the company proudly presents a new line of notebooks boasting the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series family of GPUs; desktop class graphics performance comes to notebooks for enhanced capabilities and amazing gameplay. The new products are Alienware 17, 15, 13, and the Alienware Aurora Desktop, below are some of the products' information.

Alienware 17

As the name implies, this is Alienware's latest ultimate gaming notebook with an emphasis on the screen size. It features an overclocked Intel Core i7 k-series processors and DDR4 memory running up to 2667 Mhz.

There's also a newly added support for optional IR Tobii eye-tracking technology, sensing your presence and attention to understand when you engage with various elements of the device or lock your system when you walk away. This is a collaboration effort between Tobii and Alienware's AlienFX lighting zones with full LED system, with the Tobii detecting your game, allowing you to record and export your gaze pattern as a coaching tool to help improve your gameplay.

Alienware 15

Next, the mid-size Alienware 15 is for gamers who want the best of both gaming performance and portability. Designed in a thinner frame, it comes with graphics options from AMD and NVIDIA, including a VR-ready NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060. Besides that, it features a 15.6-inch FHD, IPS Anti-Glare, 300-nits display, an additional option of FHD 120Hz display with NVIDIA G-Sync and UHD IGZO for 4k resolution.

Moreover, it has an exception battery life with 68 watt-hour lithium ion battery and an optional 99 watt-hour battery to enable extended gameplay when plugged away.

Alienware 13

The smallest brother in the lineup, it comes with a configurable NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series graphics, offering one of the most compact VR-ready devices ever. It also has trillions of LED lighting combinations through eight unique programmable lighting zones with up to 20 distinct colours.

Alienware Aurora desktop

Despite being the small footprint than the previous Aurora model, this one boasts even more dedicated graphics and overclocking potential including the latest NVIDIA GeForce cards, for 4k gaming or even up to 12k gaming as a dual-graphics capable desktop. To add on to that, it also includes the latest Intel CPUs, liquid cooling, overclockable memory available in with Kingston Fury X running at 2400 Mhz.

Design-wise, it's Alienware first chassis with toolless access for easy swapping of GPUs and as many as 3 of the 5 potential storage drives, other innovations join the solid lineup of Alienware software including custom lighting with AlienFX and total control with Alienware Command Center.

The Alienware Aurora desktop is available now at RM3999 (6th GenCore i3), whereas the Alienware 17 and 15 will be available at the end of October at RM8299 and RM6999 respectively. All prices are inclusive of GST, and as for the Alienware 13, its pricing and availability will be announced at the end of November.
