With the on-going coronavirus outbreak, it has also affected the business world as well which means slowing down the manufacturing process of certain products. Since so many things are "Made in China", this also includes Apple and they recently announced that all the official stores, contact centres and corporate offices will be closed until 9 February 2020.

According to Apple, they said this action was advised by experts so it was a necessary "out of an abundance of caution". With that, this also blocks Apple employees from the U.S. to even travel to China and it's said that the Apple employees in Wuhan were given care kits. Despite the stores closing, the online store in China will still be available.

On the business side, this action should also affect Apple's sales, revenues, and the manufacturing process in China. Even Tesla have to close down their new factory in Shanghai by the Chinese government's request, the same goes to Google, Microsoft and Facebook (in Hong Kong and Taiwan) temporarily closing their offices.

Meanwhile in Malaysia, some companies have taken the initiative to forbid their employees coming to work if they have been to China recently.
