All BYD EV models now feature a DJI Drone launch platform

BYD and DJI have launched a smart drone system that allows drones to be launched directly from vehicles. So, what should you know about it?

Known as " Lingyuan ", the system transforms smart vehicles into vehicle-mounted, adjustable landing pads, enabling automatic take-off and landing, synchronised follow-shooting, and rapid storage and charging of drones.

For your information, the heads of BYD and DJI emphasised that this innovation is not just about putting drones in cars but integrating vehicle and drone technology for broader benefits. This system allows drones to take off, land, and follow vehicles automatically, recording the journey in real time.

BYD stated that Lingyuan would be available for all BYD models. The system is now available in mainland China for 16,000 Yuan (~RM9,784.00). The BYD Bao8 SUV model equipped with the "Lingyuan" system is offered with various specifications priced between 395,800 Yuan (~RM242,031) and 423,800 Yuan (~RM258,664).
