All Galaxy S25 Series units may not feature Exynos 2500 SoC as the company struggles with production

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Series may not feature the Exynos 2500 SoC after all, as the company is reportedly having issues with its foundry operations. Previously, rumours point to only the Ultra variant having the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, while the rest being powered by Exynos 2500.

According to GSMArena which sourced Business Korea, Samsung is facing low yields of its next-gen Exynos chip. Hence, it can’t manufacture enough processor units for the Galaxy S25 Series launch, which is expected to take place in January 2025.

Business Korea reported that Samsung has a ‘low yield’ of the 3nm process, making Samsung have to rely on Qualcomm instead. Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed yet.
