All new HP Spectre revealed as world's thinnest laptop

Just over the weekend in Macau, HP has announced the new HP Spectre as the world's thinnest laptop, measuring at only 10.4mm thick and 1.11kg. The lightweight laptop is durable yet stylish with a carbon fibre bottom, high glass copper accents that reflect a hand-polished, jewelry-like finish and an innovative hidden piston hinge creates the illusion of a hinge-less design to offer an unmatched premium look-and-feel. It currently cost $1249 (around RM4851) and it will be available in Asia Pacific and Japan at May.

The Spectre is powered by Intel Core i5 and i7 processors delivering superb performance, a lightning fast PCIe SSD with storage up to 512 GB(6) with up to 8 GB of memory for maximum performance, it also carries a full HD IPS 13.3-inch diagonal edge-to-edge display featuring Corning Gorilla glass, Bang & Olufsen sound, AAA-battery that can last for nine and a half hours, lastly, there are three full function USB Type-CTM connectors, including two of which support ThunderboltTM, to provide a fast, versatile I/O connection.

Meanwhile, there were other HP products too such as the HP EliteBook Folio and HP Elite x3 for business purpose, and 15.6-inch HP ENVY laptop featuring Intel Core processors up to i7 with option of UMA or Intel Iris graphics, 16 GB of memory with dual storage options of up to 1 TB HDD and 256 GB PCIe SSD, and Windows Hello support on an optional HD IR camera. The HP ENVY will also be available in Asia Pacific and Japan from May with a starting price at $779 (around RM3026).
