Starting 23 January 2018, Acer Malaysia has officially brought in the newly revamped, ultraslim and ultralight Swift 5 laptop into Malaysia. Priced at RM3799 and RM4599 respectively, the two price tags are for the following two models carrying either an i5 or i7 processor. Both models are available for purchase immediately at all authorized Acer resellers nationwide.
Boasting a measurement of 14.9mm thin and weighing just 970g, the body material build is made of ultralight magnesium-lithium alloys for the top and bottom cover, as well as magnesium-aluminium alloys for extra sturdiness on the palm rest area, which actually made Acer bringing home a Good Design Awards last year in Taiwan.
For the tech-specs, it utilizes the latest 8th Gen Intel Core processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD, a 14-inch Full HD IPS display in 1920 x 1080 resolution, combined with Acer Color Intelligence and its battery life can last up to 8 hours from a single charge. Running on Windows 10, the keyboard is backlit and it is also equipped with a fingerprint reader, as well as Acer TrueHarmony, Dolby Audio Premium, Skype for Business and Cortana at your command.
