In light of the announcement by Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communication and Digital, regarding the new RAHMAH 5G package and RAHMAH Public Servant Postpaid Incentive yesterday, it's now confirmed that all our local telcos will be supporting the government's initiative. This includes CelcomDigi, Maxis, Telekom Malaysia (unifi mobile), U Mobile and YTL Communications (Yes)

In the official statement, the telecommunication service providers are committed to supporting the government’s Ekonomi MADANI framework through affordable connectivity and devices and will continue to work closely as an industry to further narrow the digital divide. It's also confirmed that the two RAHMAH plans will be launched on 31 August 2023.

Customers are advised to check their respective service providers’ websites for the packages that are available. There would be a RAHMAH 5G 60GB Postpaid package as low as RM60 per month, bundled with a 5G phone for as low as RM240. The first 100,000 customers from the B40 category can get one as low as RM120.

As for the RAHMAH Postpaid Incentive for Civil Servants, they can get a rebate of RM10 per month. The rebate is eligible for any existing postpaid package, as it's part of the Unity Government's efforts to reduce the financial burden on the people.
