If you're looking for a phone with large sensors, the Huawei Mate 60 series could have what you want. The company's next flagship smartphone series is coming soon, but leaks have turned up online as expected. One leak involves what are allegedly photos of the actual Huawei Mate 60.

Thanks to a post on Weibo, we now have photos of what should be the Huawei Mate 60. Right off the bat, you can see that the new model comes with a noticeable change. Although Huawei has maintained the circular rear camera module, the cameras on the Mate 60 are placed in different locations. That makes it more similar to the Huawei Mate 40 series, instead of its direct predecessors - the Huawei Mate 50 series. The new model also comes with a two-tone finish.

But the design isn't the only change. According to the source, the bottom half of the back cover uses metal. The reason for that is the higher power consumption of Huawei's next Kirin chip, leading to higher thermals for the new phone. Having more metal parts should help with heat dissipation. Since the bottom half would cover the battery, it should deal with the higher power draw.

Of course, we won't know for sure until we test the phone, but we can probably look forward to improved Huawei Mate series smartphones. The only question is how much of an improvement we would get.

What do you think? Could the Huawei Mate 60 series smartphones be worth getting? Kindly share your thoughts in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news about them.
