Nokia may be releasing a new rugged smartphone soon as alleged renders of the device have been leaked online. Shared by WinFuture, the device is referred to as the Nokia Sentry 5G.

However, as per Android Headlines, Nokia is likely to market the smartphone as the XR30, which would make it the successor to the XR20 released in 2021. The renders show the design being offered in two colours, green and black.

As the codename would suggest, the smartphone will have 5G connectivity. Furthermore, the device is quite thick and has a rather big bezel for 2023 based on the renders.

However, this is to be expected for a device that’s being marketed as a rugged smartphone. Besides that, the renders also show a punch-hole display cutout for the selfie camera at the top centre as well as a dual-camera setup at its rear.

Based on rumours, the XR30 will feature 64MP main + 8MP ultra-wide dual cameras at the back, a 16MP selfie camera, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Moreover, it will be equipped with a 4600mAh battery with support for 33W charging.

Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet. Hence, make sure to stay tuned to TechNave for the latest development on this and for more trending tech news.
