What do virtual reality and the hotel industry have in common? Well, PICO Malaysia has announced a new partnership with Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral today. Together, they are thrilled to announce their first-ever Extended Reality (XR) hotel experience in Malaysia.
In this collaboration, customers of Aloft can experience the XR headset bundled with the top 50 floor rooms. Called the XR Exploration Room package, it will be available for guests to book from 17 October 2023 onwards, with stay dates from the 1st of November until the 31st of December 2023. For a limited time, the price is starting from RM580 and above.
As an extra treat, guests who book a stay at the XR Exploration Room can receive a chance to win a PICO 4 All-in-One VR headset (RRP RM1699) for each month. Additionally, a total of RM1000 worth of Lazada vouchers will be given away that can be used to purchase the PICO 4 All-in-One VR headset online.
All the PICO VR headsets in the hotel rooms are already preset with an account and guests can choose 15 different pre-downloaded games and apps. Alternatively, you may sign into your account if you already have one; otherwise, everything is already prepared for you. If this collaboration succeeds, PICO said it may want to expand the XR Exploration Room idea to other hotels as well.
