Amazfit Pop 3S release: 1.96-inch AMOLED display, IP68 rating and 12 days battery life from ~RM197

Previously, we reported that a new Amazfit smartwatch, the Amazfit Pop 3S was spotted online and may launch soon. Lo and behold, the wearable was just released in India and features some competitive specs for its price. 

Firstly, the Pop 3S features a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 410 x 502 pixels and supports Always-On Display functionality. As for the body, its mid-frame is made from zinc alloy with stainless steel buttons.

Like other Amazfit smartwatches, the Pop 3S has health monitoring functionalities such as blood oxygen, stress and sleep tracking, as well as heart-rate monitoring. It’s also suitable for outdoor activities thanks to the IP68 rating and accordingly, there are more than 100 sports modes on board. 

The smartwatch also has a built-in speaker so that you can receive calls on it when paired with your smartphone via Bluetooth LE 5.2. Battery-wise, it packs a 300mAh cell which Amazfit claims can last up to 12 days with typical use.

In India, the Pop 3S starts from INR3499 or ~RM197 for the versions with the silicone strap. Meanwhile, the metal strap version is priced at INR3999 or ~RM225. 

As of the time of writing, Amazfit has yet to reveal its availability outside of India, but from previous releases, it is very likely that the Pop 3S will make its way here. Well, do make sure to stay tuned to TechNave for the latest development on this and for more trending tech news and releases.
