Today, Astro announced that Amazon Prime Video has been launched on Astro's Ultra and Ulti boxes. All Astro customers on the Ultra and Ulti boxes can activate two months of access to Prime Video at no additional cost starting from 24 April to 23 June 2025, a saving worth RM50.
For those who don't know, Prime Video by Amazon is also one of the streaming services that is available in Malaysia. It is priced at RM25 per month and is tied together with Prime Gaming. Astro customers can enjoy Prime Video's extensive library of Hollywood, Korean, local, and regional movies, TV series, and exclusive Prime Video Originals, such as Fallout, The Boys, Marry My Husband, Budak Flat and many others.
Astro customers with an Ultra or Ulti Box can activate their two-month access to Prime Video by pressing “Home” on the Astro remote control and selecting the Prime Video app under the “Apps” rail. After that, follow the steps on the screen to create an Amazon Prime account and pair their account with their Ultra or Ulti Box by scanning the QR code.
On top of that, Astro customers can easily customise their packs with add-ons, including over 13 popular streaming apps, such as Prime Video, Max, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Viu, iQIYI, WeTV, Zee5, Simply South, and more. Customers can easily make changes to their subscriptions via the My Astro app, including updating their packs, switching between add-ons and streaming services or choosing new ones – anytime they like.
