Amazon, the e-commerce giant that also offers various services under its umbrella, is now reportedly developing two smart glasses with different user groups in mind. So, what should you know about it?
Amazon wants a piece of AR glasses market too
For your information, this move means that Amazon is also joining the AR smart glasses arena currently led by Meta, as well as Xiaomi, Samsung, Google, Snap, and HTC.
Moreover, Amazon is reportedly developing one pair of smart glasses focused on consumers, and another for Amazon drivers and delivery people. One of the models is said to come with a display panel on one eye, and is also equipped with a microphone, speaker and camera.
As many are aware, Amazon already has its own AI-powered virtual assistant feature, called AI. Amazon is expected to introduce its glasses around 2026 or 2027.
Unfortunately, there are no further details on the tech specs or the Malaysia release date for the device. So, we should wait for more announcements from Amazon.
