In case you missed it, Apple just released their list of App Store Best of 2020 winners. Among the winners, Genshin Impact won the Best iPhone Game of the Year but it got us thinking about Among Us which also got super popular this year. So we decided to do some digging and found the Top Mobile Games of 2020.
On the page, the mobile games are divided into two parts - Top Free Charts and Top Paid Chart. In the free chart category, it wasn't surprising to see Among Us as the most downloaded free mobile game of this year. Besides that, it was followed by other popular titles such as League of Legends: Wild Rift, Call of Duty: Mobile (Garena), Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and PUBG Mobile as the top 5.
As for the Top Paid Chart, Minecraft is holding on to the top spot along with other well-known titles too. Plague Inc. got popular again thanks to the pandemic (the irony), then there's Football Manager 2020 Mobile version at third place. Monopoly and NBA 2K20 got fourth and fifth place respectively.
