An Apple gaming Mac may be coming in 2020, could cost a whopping ~RM20462

Ignoring the many 'leaks' we see these days, a lot of rumours tend to be somewhat vague. In fact, news of Apple possibly designing a gaming Mac doesn't sound credible at all. But that's exactly what some have been claiming recently: A 5000 USD (~RM20462) gaming Mac is coming in 2020.

Why aren't gaming Mac machines a thing? It's not that people who game on Macs don't exist, but for the vast majority gaming on a Windows PC is more convenient. Yet, market reports indicate that Apple is building a gaming Mac for the e-sports audience, according to a source. A strange choice, considering that e-sports titles don't really require very powerful hardware.

Allegedly, sources within Apple's supply chain also claim that the machine would be an all-in-one PC or gaming laptop with a large screen. Since the iMac and Macbook do belong to those two form factors, the claim does have some grounds to stand on. With the addition of the Apple Arcade service launched a few weeks ago, it's not a stretch to believe that Apple really wants to expand into the gaming industry.

Of course, these are all speculation and we are unable to verify the validity of the claims. But what do you think, would you be interested in a high-end gaming Mac from Apple? Do let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
