Console games based on the popular Malaysian animated series Upin & Ipin are set to debut sometime this September. Announced by the series’ creator Les’ Copaque Productions Sdn Bhd, read on to find out more about this exciting development.
As reported by Bernama, the company’s managing director Burhanuddin Md Radzi said that the paid games have been in development since 2023 and will be launched through several gaming consoles. No details are given out yet on which consoles specifically, with the details set to be announced later.
Upin & Ipin has been around for 19 years and is one of the most popular animated series produced in Southeast Asia. The company further revealed that it has invested RM15 million for the purpose, with the games being developed by an international company based in Malaysia.
