An iPhone SE 4 and iPhone SE 4 Plus could be in the works

The last time that we heard about the iPhone SE 4 was in 2022 and nothing since then. Well, looks like the news has resurfaced. New sources are reporting that it could be arriving in the first quarter of 2025 alongside a rumoured iPhone SE 4 Plus.

It was first reported by Macotakara, the Japanese blog claims that the sources came from Alibaba, a Chinese eCommerce platform. Not only that, it even provided dummy models of the iPhone SE 4 and iPhone SE 4 Plus that are modelled after the iPhone 14 series. If true, the displays on both phones could be 6.1 and 6.7 inches, respectively.

In addition, Macotakara also mentioned other interesting changes. Even though the next-gen iPhone SE 4 series is modelled after the iPhone 14 series, it's mostly likely to use USB-C ports, Apple's own 5G modem and no Dynamic Island function (yes, it could reuse the notch like before). Another thing to note is that the iPhone SE 4 and iPhone SE 4 Plus may have only a single rear camera.

Of course, since it's just a rumour, we should take this news with a pinch of salt. There's a good chance that Apple may only launch one model and the final design and measurements are completed. Until then, we can only wait and see when Apple decides to announce it.
