Nowadays, there are many people who use smartphones as their productivity devices instead of laptops. These people appreciate the more portable nature of a small smartphone as a PC, so Google has been adding more support to help with that in Android 15.

According to Android Authority, Google added more support features for physical keyboards to Android 15. The company has just released the second developer preview for Android 15, adding new keys for physical keyboard accessibility. This includes Sticky keys, Slow keys, and Bounce keys.

Most people should know what Sticky keys can do. As for Slow keys, it adds a delay when you press a key, which could be handy if you find yourself constantly hitting the Windows key when trying to press Alt. On the other hand, the bounce keys function prevents you from registering rapid presses of a single key.

Besides the new accessibility features, Android 15 has previews for keyboard layouts in the keyboard settings screen. This benefits non-English keyboard layouts like Japanese or Chinese, as you can see what characters are assigned to the keys. Of course, people who have keyboards with legends for non-English characters probably won't need this feature since they would already be familiar with the layout.

Regardless, this shows that Google is actively adding features that help make Android smartphones into better mini workstations. With that said, what other feature would you like to see added to Android? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
