The Android 9.0 Pie is officially available on the Samsung Galaxy S9 as well as the S9 Plus in Malaysia. In order to do so, head to the settings menu then select Software Update after you scroll down, then select download update manually.
Do take note that due to the fact that the file size of the download is rather big, I highly recommended performing the update via WiFi. Installation, on the other hand, should take about a good 5 to 10 minutes as well. Once the installation is complete, you’ll be greeted with the Android 9 Pie splash screen on startup.
Here’s a handy tip, for those who frequently use your Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus at night. Head into the Display settings found within the Settings menu, then activate Night Mode.
