If you're not a smartphone geek, you should know that Vivo was actually the first smartphone manufacturer to showcase and implement the In-Display Fingerprint Scanning Technology. So in conjunction with this, the company was awarded one of the Best Innovations for Android phone for 2018 by one of the top tier international tech media, Android Authority.

Praised for introducing the biggest technology proponent and being the first to execute it (ahead of Apple haha), Vivo has over 140 patents applied with the technology to date. Over the course of time of refining the technology, it's now at the fifth generation with higher fingerprint pixel density and more sophisticated algorithms which allow for a faster and more secure unlocking experience in only 0.37 seconds, with style (animation).

One of the current Vivo smartphones using the fifth generation technology is the V15Pro, also the world's first phone to use a 32MP Elevating Front Camera, allowing it to reach a true fullscreen experience at 6.39-inches with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.64%. Besides the V15Pro, the X20 Plus UD, X21 UD, NEX and V11 are also integrated with the in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo V15Pro with 6GB RAM is retailing at RM 1699 while the 8GB RAM model goes for RM1899 across the nation. You can get one now at your nearest Vivo concept store. Stay tuned for more Vivo news at TechNave.com.
