Samsung and Huawei already have optimized their flagship smartphones as 'minicomputers', seeing as how they can be connected to the PC monitor effortlessly. But soon in the future, it's possible that all Android devices will be able to do so too, according to online sources here and here, the next-in-line Android P could add that feature making the phone function as a keyboard or trackpad.

While using it as a trackpad is not new, we aren't sure how using it as a wireless digital keyboard would help that much. But due to the growing trend of doing Fullview displays, we should have an okay-ish space for our fingers to type on it and would take some time to adapt. On the bright side, it could very well change the way we work having compact devices. The first smartphones to receive this feature is probably the next Google Pixel series this year, so we will just have to wait and see.
