Mobile gaming is certainly one of the favourite entertainment things to go to for Malaysians and they should be even happier with this news. During The Game Awards 2021, Google showed a teaser of a Google Play Games app that will allow you to play mobile games on your Windows devices.

According to Greg Hartrell, the Product Director of games on Android and Google Play, he said that the Google Play Games app will begin sometime in 2022. The optimisation also means that you can sync your accounts between your Windows PCs and phone. You can also resume back to where you last stopped between the devices.

On top of that, the Google Play Games app will support Windows 10 and above but will not support game streaming. Besides Windows PCs, you can also integrate your Google Play account on a tablet and Chromebook. It's not known which mobile game will be eligible but here's hoping that all of them can do.

At the moment of this announcement, the Google Play Games app is Google's own project. The company hasn't partnered with Microsoft, BlueStacks or others yet but we think they would go hand in hand naturally since Microsoft is also working on bringing Android mobile games to Windows 11.
