Android phone users will be able to annotate their PDFs from Google Drive soon

Google has recently announced that you will be able to annotate or draw (and save it!) on a PDF file from Google Drive. Currently rolling out to Android 6.0 users and above around the world, our Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra could already do it with either a finger or the S Pen, but we couldn’t do the same on Google Drive for our Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite tablet, so be patient and you’ll get it soon.

To access the new annotation tools, open the PDF file from the Google Drive and select the Pen tool. You can then choose various options, including the thickness of the line, the colour and so forth. You can also undo and redo strokes or save it directly to the PDF file or make a new PDF copy with the annotations.

Can your device annotate a PDF from Google Drive yet? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com.
