It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that dark mode is increasingly getting popular over the months, Instagram has it, so as WhatsApp and Facebook will have its own soon (third-party or lite version doesn't count). Now it seems that Android users will be getting dark mode too on some Google apps, which are the Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.

Officially announced at the company's own blog, the dark mode support is indeed coming quite soon on the said-three apps. In fact, all the three apps will automatically set the dark mode on the user interface as long as the Android system is already in that mode. If you still prefer either one to remain at its original look, you can still manually turn off the dark mode by visiting "More" then "View in light theme".

If you're wondering when the dark mode update is coming, Google mentioned that the dark mode for the Google apps has already started rolling out. Do note that it may take some time to reach some Android users, at two weeks the most. The update is only available to all G Suite customers and users with personal accounts.

Like any dark mode, it can be found in the settings, you just have to look for "Theme" then tap on "dark" and you're all set. How many of you are looking forward to this? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
