Another variant of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G spotted using a SD865 Plus chipset

Based on a statement by a user on weibo, it seems that another variant of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has been spotted and it seems to come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset. Not only that, based on the source the smartphone is expected to be unveiled alongside the Note 20 series during the Galaxy Unpacked event which might be held on 5 August 2020.

To go into more detail in terms of the tech spec, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G variant is expected to also come equipped with a 6.5-inch foldable AMOLED 2636 x 1080 display, 12MP + 10MP camera as well as a 12MP selfie camera for taking selfies and video calls. Similar to the previous Galaxy Z Flip smartphone, upcoming Z Flip 5G will come equipped with a 2500mAh and a 704mAh battery which brings the total battery capacity to 3204mAh.

With all that said, do take every bit of information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Samsung has yet to provide an official statement on the leaks. Furthermore, there is no official news on the Malaysia release date, complete tech specs, and local pricing for now.
