So in another vivo V11 commercial video by vivo, we have discovered yet another feature that wasn't mentioned much by the company and that would be the new AI Face Shaping technology and AI Portrait Framing. As the name suggests, these two features will take the selfie game to another level but how useful is it?
From our understanding, the AI Face Shaping technology seems to have the power to change your facial structure a bit but that's not really the case, but rather, the smartphone has a new AI face modelling algorithm that refines your facial features. From the video, we can see that there's a Face Reshaping mode, Thin Face mode, Brightness (probably light on your face), Skin Tone and buffing. In short, it's like a virtual makeup toolbox that's ready.
Moreover, we also learn that the AI Portrait Framing is a pretty useful tool as the phone can teach you how to take a selfie photo! According to vivo, the phone's AI will have a small circle appearing teaching you where you should position the angle. There's also an AI Selfie Lighting that offers lighting effects but we are in the midst of exploring that.
