It seems that a statement by sina.com.cn, seems that the OPPO Reno5 series might feature “luminous materials” on the smartphone. While not much is known in regards to what exactly “luminous materials” mean, our source did mention that it could provide improvements in terms of facial recognition.
As for the tech specs, the series will come equipped with either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G or Dimensity 1000+ depending on the variant, and it supports up to 65W fast charging. As for the camera, it has a 64MP main sensors in the rear while the front comes with a 32MP selfie camera.
With all that said, do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that OPPO has yet to provide an official statement on the leaked info. Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, local pricing, and exact tech specs for now.
