Apple AirPods 2? Yup, apparently it looks like the new Bluetooth accessory is coming "true". Supposedly, it was supposed to be out last year but it quickly died down even before the WWDC 2018 came. In this latest rumour mill, we got news about the AirPods 2 so let's see what are the sources saying.

According to DigiTimes report, the new AirPods will be able to connect with Hey Siri and when I say this, it means AirPods 2 owners in the future do not need to double tap on the AirPods anymore to activate Siri, just a voice recognition will do. In addition, Health Monitoring could be a thing and it's not really known how this feature could be used on an AirPod, but with today's technology, anything can happen and we will just have to see how it works (should it ever happen).

As for the design, we don't think it will change a lot but because of the so-called Health Monitoring feature, the design might change slightly. Not very helpful by DigiTimes, but thanks to MySmartPrice, we have other information that the AirPods 2 and casing might have a new matte coating for a better grip, this tally with the Taiwanese Economic Daily News which also reported of a "new surface coating" on the AirPods 2. On top of that, the casing will have a wireless charging capability so you won't need a cable to charge that.

In terms of sound quality, they said the bass will be enhanced to some degree but without taking away the treble too much. Another weird thing that we read is also the fact that it might not have Bluetooth 5.0. Oh well, these are the stuff we got so far. Stay tuned for more Apple news at TechNave.com.
