Just a few hours ago, Apple has finally put the AirPods listed in their online store for $159. Initially, the AirPods were supposed to be released in late October but was delayed for unknown reasons. But they are finally available now, just in time for Christmas.

In their official statement, all Apple Authorized Resellers and selected carriers will have the AirPods sometime next week (we're not sure if Malaysia is included). And as for shipment, it will begin in "limited quantities" at launch and customers are encouraged to check the online store for updates on availability and shipping ETA.

AirPods were first introduced in mid-September this year, following the much rumoured removed headphone jack on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, the wireless Bluetooth earpiece can last up to 5 hours of music playback and it's said to have a "seamless and automatic connection" between the AirPods and an iPhone. Users can also simply charge the AirPods inside a small travel case that acts as a charging station.

"AirPods introduce an effortless wireless listening experience packed with high-quality audio and long battery life. These magical wireless headphones use advanced technology to reinvent how we listen to music, make phone calls, enjoy TV shows and movies, play games and interact with Siri, providing a wireless audio experience not possible before." said the website.

Granted, the Malaysia price of the AirPods was already revealed for RM849, but we're hoping the price gets corrected since the AirPods are only official now in the USA. Stay tuned for more news at Technave.com.
