As speculated, the next annual Apple Event will indeed be live on 7 September 2022. Taking place in the Steve Jobs Theater at the Apple Park campus site, as usual, the Malaysian timing would be on 8 September 2022 at 1 AM which can be viewed at apple.com/my, YouTube and the Apple TV App.

To recall back all the rumoured news, we are quite likely to see all of the iPhone 14 series. Rumours have it that we should be expecting a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, as well as a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Max Pro. However, a recent leak claimed that the iPhone 14 mini is still out there but we are taking a pinch of salt here.

There will be a new A16 Bionic chipset but rumours say that only the pro variants could have it, whereas the non-pro variants could still use back the A15 Bionic chipset due to motherboard shortage. Other updates include a new pill-shape + punch hole cutout, a 48MP primary camera, an improved ultrawide lens and WiFi 6E.

Besides the iPhone 14 series, the new Apple Watch Series 8 should be making its debut as well. Previous reports say that the new wearable could have a longer battery life, improved low power mode, temperature sensor, an S8 chipset and even car crash detection. They may be a new Apple Watch Series 8 Pro model too that is larger and more durable.

As for the new iPads, Macs and AirPods Pro, they should be scheduled for the second Apple Event round in October 2022. Until then, do stay tuned for our official news coverage at TechNave.com.
